Women’s Austrian Lacrosse League (WALL)
-
- The Women’s Austrian Lacrosse League (WALL) is a full field, round-robin tournament taking place annually from September to June. The best ranked Austrian team in the league is named Austrian Champion.
- Clubs from neighboring countries are encouraged to join the league to foster more competition and regional growth of the game of lacrosse. Games are played according to the official international women’s field lacrosse rules.
Women’s Sixes Draft League (WSDL)
- The Austrian Women’s Sixes team competes in friendly scrimmages and international competitions in Europe. This squad will also represent the nation in upcoming European Olympic Qualification events in hopes to compete to represent the nation the LA2028 Olympic Games.
Men’s AustriaN Lacrosse League
- Men’s Austria Lacrosse League takes place annually between the registered men’s teams of Austria’s active clubs and associations. Each year the club representatives come together with the OeLaxV to determine the most appropriate discipline to represent Men’s league play, choosing between Field, Sixes or Box. Games are played according to the official international lacrosse rules of the chosen discipline, whether that be Field, Sixes or Box.
- Austria’s men’s clubs are active in cross-border or transnational leagues across the year, such as the Czech National Box Lacrosse League (NBLL), the Danube Lacrosse League (DLL) or the Slovak Lacrosse League (SLL), to foster competitiveness and growth of the sport in central Europe.
Austria Lacrosse uses certified officiating teams for all of the events it hosts, managing games with the most up-to-date international rules for the discipline being played.
Our officials monitor changes to international rules and work with club representatives to provide feedback on the current state of rules adaptations.
All of our officials are eligible for compensation using the PRAE system.
